A Binding Contract Between the Candidate and the Citizenry
I, ________________________________, recognizing that the primary duty of any elected official is to protect the economic security, voting rights, and democratic representation of everyday working families, do hereby sign this binding pledge to the voters of my district and the American people.
By affixing my signature below, I formally commit myself, my office, and my legislative power to the execution of the Movement Plan’s Ten-Point Platform for Economic and Civic Reform.
I fully understand that this pledge is not a mere symbolic gesture, but a strict condition of my endorsement by the Movement Plan Group.
I explicitly acknowledge the voters' right to hold me accountable. If I fail to sponsor, vote for, or actively champion the legislative goals outlined in the Ten-Point Plan during my term in office, I acknowledge that I have broken this contract. In doing so, I forfeit the political support of this movement, and I fully expect the Movement Plan voting bloc to actively organize, fund, and execute a primary or general election challenge to replace me with a candidate who will uphold these principles.
